OVERSEAS COUPLES


South Africa is fast becoming a destination of choice for couples from all over the world. We offer our services to overseas couples no matter where you want to get married in South Africa.

Cape Town is by far and away the most popular destination for these couples. Many couples can bring themselves, their family and guests out by air to Cape Town for an upmarket wedding at one of the top venues, for less than the cost of a small wedding in the UK or Europe.

Although there is a mix of weddings involving overseas couples from small intimate weddings on the beach or Table Mountain to the sort described above, we have done them all.

Our service includes the ceremony and there would be a small additional fee for a Full Marriage Certificate and an Apostile.

It is vital that should you be divorced or a Widow/er that you have a copy of your Divorce Decree or a copy of your Late Spouses Death certificate.

Any bachelor/spinster (isn't that a horrible word) wanting to get married who happens to be under 18 at the time of the wedding will require a letter of permission from both Parents or Legal Guardian.

Wedding Chapels

We utilise a number of different chapels around Cape Town. They are each run and managed by different organisations and would need to be booked through the relevant organisation. For more info on the different Chapels, please contact Dion directly.

The cost is on average about R500.00 per hour. The Chapels are by no means the only places we can hold a wedding ceremony.

Wedding at your Own Venue

Should you wish one of our Marriage Officers to officiate at your Wedding at a venue of your own choosing, then the costs are as follows:

Within the Cape Metropol

  • SA Citizens (Abridged Marriage Certificate) - R1,500.00 all inclusive.

  • Non SA Citizens (Full Marriage Certificate) - R1,850.00 all inclusive

In the Cape Province

  • SA Citizens (Abridged Marriage Certificate) - R1,500.00 + Agreed travel costs.

  • Non SA Citizens (Full Marriage Certificate) - R1,850.00 + Agreed travel costs.
